SERIES OVERVIEW

In a world of heightened cultural and political tension, how can Christians navigate public life with both conviction and compassion? Join us for this timely series as we explore God's wisdom for engaging in politics while keeping our witness intact and our church united.

From understanding our primary citizenship in God's kingdom to learning how to bridge divides with grace, each week builds on biblical foundations to help us become more effective ambassadors for Christ in the public sphere. Whether you feel overwhelmed by today's cultural climate or are seeking to engage more faithfully, this series offers practical guidance for walking in both truth and grace.

WEEK 12 - Reconciliation: Waking Up to the Truth + Walking Together

2 Corinthians 5: 18-20

A recording for this service isn’t available.

This service centred on reconciliation as a call to confront uncomfortable truths about our shared history. We explored what it means to truly "wake up" to the ongoing impacts of colonisation and discovered practical ways to walk together with our First Nations neighbours.

The service weaved together video reflections on local Wurundjeri history, insights from the Yoorrook Justice Commission, and music from Indigenous artist Kutcha Edwards. We invited our congregation to consider concrete next steps, both personally and as a church community.
