Ashburton Baptist Church offers a wide range programs.
Childrens Programs
Kids' Club is run every Sunday morning
during the school term concurrently with the second half of the morning worship
service. A club for primary school-aged girls, "Amethyst"
is also run during the school term on Thursday evenings. A play
group is run on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings for toddlers and pre-schoolers.
Youth Programs
The church runs two youth group programs:
Years 7 to 10, and Years 11 through to University. The Kids'
Club program also caters for high-schooled aged children.
Small Group Program
During the week the church programs are supported by a Small
Group program. These cater for all ages and provide an opportunity for
bible study, discussion of issues, support and prayer.
Other Programs
WellSpring Centre is an organization
established with the support of the Ashburton Baptist Church with a focus
on spiritual direction, retreats, quiet days, prayer and reflection, Christian
meditation, Taizé styles of worship and interdenominational dialogue.
