While living in Africa, Sally and Scott Weiss met a musician who introduced
to them the idea of playing this great old hymn in 4/4 time rather than the
traditional 3/4. Sally and Scott shared this idea with the ABC music team
who embraced it immediately, and developed the idea into a very contemporary

Shepherds And Angels
When planning the 2003 Christmas Carols service, a decision was made to include
a bright, bold, brassy instrumental as an "opener". A suitable piece
could not be found quickly, so one of our regular musicians composed "Shepherds
