Facilities at Ashburton BaptistThe facilities at Ashburton Baptist have developed in several stages over its 70 year history, from a small wooden hall in Marquis Street to the modern buildings that exist today. During the last redevelopment, considerable thought was given to those with disability, resulting in the inclusion of wheel chair access to the buildings, accessible toilet facilities, plus enhancement of the hearing induction loop for the hearing impaired. The Church also has a memorial garden set aside for interment of the cremated ashes of deceased persons. |
